Our artistic compositions are more than just a delight for the eyes. They are the result of painstaking labour, innovation and meticulous finishing that can sometimes take hundreds of hours, in the case of the most complex creations designed for competition entries. These pieces are the products of our imagination, requiring multiple working techniques (sculpture, moulding, etc.), which we often have to invent specifically for the purpose! In other words, it takes quick thinking and improvisation to come up with just the right the moulds, supports… The chocolatier becomes an experimental artist and works with whatever means available to successfully realise the design. With an understanding of the medium and its qualities, and a bit of perseverance, anything can be achieved. The possibilities with chocolate are boundless, limited only by the available time!
