presentation-1Chocolaterie Schmitt was founded in 1983 in Gérardmer, Lorraine. Coming from a long line of skilled patissiers, Jean-Emile Schmitt turned his talent towards refined pâtisseries and chocolate, paving the way for membership to “le Club Prosper Montagné” and “l’association Tradition Gourmande”. Having won a prestigious award in 2010 for being one of the best chocolatiers in France, Monsieur Schmitt, now joined by his two sons, is able to share his savoir-faire and talent. Since 2010 Chocolaterie Schmitt has had five chocolate bars listed in the “Club de Croqueurs de Chocolat” guide, sealing its membership to the exclusive chocolate appreciation society of the twenty best chocolatiers in France.
